Sustainability at yopsi

We started yopsi because we are convinced that it will be a simpler and more environmentally friendly solution than if everyone has their own printer at home.
Most printers are used less than once a month, take up space and are thrown out after a few toner changes. It’s not environmentally friendly, it’s a farce.

CO2 compensation

With yopsi we give you the opportunity to print your documents simply and easily. Since we cannot print without CO2 either, we offset our CO2 emissions and are therefore complete Co2 neutral . We work with the MyClimate environmental foundation, who invests the paid compensation in projects that are selected by myClimate and meet the strict guidelines of the gold standard. This ensures that the compensation also makes a difference.

Website and server

Our website runs at cyon.ch . Cyon is committed to Green IT and has various measures in place to be environmentally friendly. For example, the energy is produced trough regional hydropower and solar energy.

Printer and Infrastructure

Our printers are also selected according to strict criteria. The energy for our printing systems and infrastructure is certified according to “naturmade-star” and therefore 100% from renewable sources and 100% ecological. The printers are also selected according to criteria such as “Blauer Engel”.

In addition, we are of course constantly striving to reduce our climatic footprint. We use the 17 goals of the UN for sustainable development and together with you we want to make this world a better place for future generations.

  • Goal 7: Sustainable energy: Through our selection of the energy mix, we support the goal of achieving affordable and clean energy for everyone.
  • Goal 12: Sustainable consumption and production. Simply put, our WHY. We believe that our solution will be more sustainable than everyone having their own printer at home.
  • Goal 13: Climate protection measures: Our production and shipping are completely CO2-neutral, as we offset all emissions.
